SABER regularly contains articles from the 5th Cavalry, 7th Cavalry, 8th Cavalry, 9th Cavalry, 12th Cavalry, 15th Medical, HQ and Special Troops, 82nd Field Artillery, Engineer, LRRP/Rangers, 545th Military Police, Doc’s Report, HICCUP, and Horse Cavalry Detachment. It also contains Taps (recent deaths), President’s Corner, Director’s Chair, Trooper Tales, Chapter News, Wanted (looking for someone), Other Reunions, Reunion information, and other pertinent news and announcements for the membership of the 1st Cavalry Division Association. Printed subscriptions to SABER are $10 per year for six issues.

Did you realize that your subscription has now expired, and you have missed one or more issues of the SABER?

I hope you will take the time to renew your subscription so that you won’t miss any more issues. The renewal form below will also provide a means by which we can verify the information on your file in our database. Please fill it out completely.

I would also like to recommend that you consider making a donation to the Association’s General Fund. Our continued growth places a heavy demand on the Association’s ability to provide all the services requested of it. The one-time Life Membership fee established in 1944 was to have covered continued services for each new member. Service costs have risen considerably, and the gap between income and expenses for services has widened. Since we have no annual dues, donations to the general fund are used to make up for additional costs incurred by expanded services to the membership. Would you please review the form below and send in a minimum of $25 for this cause.
